Pros and cons of Civil War: 1862 app for iPhone and iPad

Civil War: 1862 app good for

great game for the modest price challenging and interesting very well done
This is the best game on the app store its tactical fighting at its finest
I loved the previous instalment, Civil War 1863, and love this one even more with its graphic and other improvements. The only thing missing on a tactical point of view, as with the previous game, is the ability to limber and unlimber artillery, but this has been somewhat offset by the ability to move artillery some extra spaces when out of range of enemy units, as with other units. Like the 1863 version, the learning curve is very easy thanks to the tutorial scenarios, and yet it is quite challenging to master, especially with certain campaigns. Youre in for hours of fun if you like base-turned hex based war-games!
Great game! Simple to use controls, great graphics, great playability! Great fun! Wish there was a zoom in and out ability but otherwise love the game!

Some bad moments

This game is really awesome and I cant wait for the next theme(shogun would be cool)!!! However, you guys really need to add pass and play for this and rome. I really want to promote it to my friends and this would help. Dont hesitate if you are considering to buy this game. It is definitely worth it!
I had found the first game and liked it, after finishing it a couple of times, it asked me to check This 2 C.W. game out. I did and I love it. Its a great tactical game ! IDE like to see more of this. As you go along it seems to expand some, which is great. IDE like the maps to be larger in some battles though. Over all I enjoy it very much. Check it out and see.
Haunted cow strategy games are the only games that remain on my phone! We are ready for more! not too fancy just the same beautiful graphics and solid gameplay with more scenarios. On to Moscow... Or Stalingrad for that matter! Any theatre any century- Im a fan.
Fun and simple game! I would recommend it to anyone who is a fan of strategy games.
I like controlling large amts of troops in these "historic" scenarios. Wish the general could join artillery troops as in earlier version though. Even the easy level is way more difficult than prev version.
I like the game and play it often. Great alone as computer plays as a good foe. Historic similarities tend to limit ability of actual loser to reverse history. Graphics are fine but overwhelm the hex so you cant always understand angles of fire, especially when played first time in the woods. even when played multiple times it is confusing to determine elevations and what land hex is higher than others. Really enjoy hex games on computer as I played them decades ago on a board and this is a vast improvement.
